The Association for Conflict Resolution - Houston (ACR Houston) is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and conflict management, supporting and developing ADR professionals, and educating our community about the many uses and benefits of ADR.

Congratulations to Dr. Barbara Sunderland Manousso who has been selected as an honoree for Houston Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award.

Celebrate National Conflict Resolution Day by supporting the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County CONFLICT RESOLUTION BOOKMARK ART CONTEST for Grades K - 8 on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. It promotes kindness and peaceful conflict resolution discussions for schools in Montgomery County.
ACR Houston volunteer opportunities for the awards ceremony on Friday, October 19, 2018 are:
Greeter to welcome winners, school officials and family members to the Alan B. Sadler Commissioners Court Building;
One volunteer to help serve refreshments at the awards ceremony; and
Volunteers to help decorate Commissioners Court for the awards ceremony.
There are many ACR Houston volunteer opportunities for the awards ceremony on Friday, October 19, 2018. All volunteers are requested to arrive at 2:30 p.m.

October 23, 2018 - Tuesday Aga Khan CAB Celebrates Mediation Week Sugar Land, TX - Ismaili Jamatkhana and Center Houston
RSVP Aga Khan Conciliation and Arbitration Board (CAB) will celebrate Mediation Week (as designated by the American Bar Association) by launching a series of Mediators' Forums in Atlanta (Norcross), Chicago (Glenview), Dallas (Plano), and Houston (Sugar Land).
The Mediators' Forums are free to all registered participants and are aimed at creating opportunities to share techniques and best practices in mediation. Each Forum will be held as a half day event (9:30-noon) comprised of panel discussions and round table exchanges. We hope to host approximately 25 mediators at each Forum.
The Mediators' Forum in Houston will be held on October 23 at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Center Houston located at 1700 First Colony Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479.
