Biography: Rick's mediation practice emphasizes helping parents and their children deal rationally with such emotionally charged “aging” issues as living arrangements, finances, medical treatment, long-term care and end-of-life decisions, thereby avoiding arguments and costly litigation that can tear families apart. Rick has a BA from Yale, JD from the University of Texas, LLM in International Law from Georgetown University and MBA in finance from the University of Houston. He possesses a real estate license and is well-versed in oil and gas issues. A fifth generation Texan whose great-great-grandfather fought in the Texas Revolution, Rick is a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas and also has the honor of being a Kentucky Colonel. He was one of the original batboys for the Houston Colt .45s, the first major league baseball team in Houston, which was renamed the Houston Astros in 1965. Rick is the current President of Alternative Conflict Resolution - Houston Chapter.

Biography: Dr. Barbara Sunderland Manousso, CEO of Manousso Mediation and Arbitration, LLC, since 1993, is an international ADR trainer, author, ombudsman, conflict coach, and leader in the international practice of mediation and arbitration. Dr. Manousso is also a professor at the University of St.Thomas in Global Conflict Management. In addition, she is the Chair of the Education Research Training Section of the Association of Conflict Resolution International, president of the Houston Gerontological Society, and member of the UT Consortium on Aging. Dr. Manousso is a Texas Credentialed Distinguished Mediator, member of the Texas Mediators Round Table State Bar of Texas ADR Section, American Bar Association, and other professional groups. Biography: Sherry Wetsch received her Juris Doctorate in 1984 from the University of North Dakota School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Texas North Dakota and Missouri.
