"TAM Shares - Mandatory Family Violence Training"

Mandatory Family Violence Training required for ALL mediators in the State of Texas who mediate cases involving the Parent-Child Relationship

The Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 539 that went into effect on September 1, 2017.   If a mediator has not completed the family violence training on or before January 1, 2018, the mediator would no longer meet the qualifications to be appointed as a mediator in a dispute involving the parent-child relationship.  See article at Domestic Violence Mediation Legislation.  Go to Available Training Options for Mediators for additional information.

Manousso Mediation students have met the four hours of acceptable training in domestic violence as now  required, if they have taken our family or parenting coordination and facilitation trainings.

Our next family training will be February 6, 7, 8, 2018, and parenting coordination and facilitation training will be March 9th and 10th, 2018.  Go to www.manousso.us  to register.  Both classes will meet the new requirement, if you haven't had our training already.
