2017

The Voice of Asia News Group spotlights the Manousso Scholarship Award winner for 2017.

"Bowen Mei, a new (alternative) dispute resolution (ADR) professional, is a rising senior at Stephen F. Austin HS in Fort Bend ISD. His extracurricular activities include the Chess Club, Computer Association, and Model United Nations chapter, as well as playing badminton and basketball recreationally. His future plan is to attend college at UT in Austin or Rice University as a computer science major.


2015 - 2016

Caroline Ankoma-Sey is a senior at St. John's High School in Houston. She recently earned a certificate as a professional mediator at Manousso Mediation and Arbitration, LLC. In addition to this certificate, she was accepted into a special conflict management course at the University of Texas.

She is the Captain of the Girls Track and Field Team, and plays on the Varsity Track Team, JV Basketball Team, JV Volleyball Team, and enjoys piano, ballet, tap, and jazz.

Her many awards and achievements include Bronze and Silver Awards in Girl Scouts.

She has received many college acceptances, so her quest is now to pick the one that will support her interest in dispute resolution.


2014 - 2015

Andrea R. Cooper, MLA, is a communications professional adept at community relations, issues management, and special event coordination. She received her baccalaureate degree in English from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) and is a recent graduate from the University of St. Thomas (UST) where she received her MLA degree in Communications.

Andrea became a professional mediator during her final semester at UST, through the Global Conflict Management course, instructed by Dr. Barbara S. Manousso and Melissa Back, J.D. She looks forward to helping others resolve their conflict through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes and plans to attend Our Lady of the Lake University to pursue a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies in Fall 2015.
